We must also use the coming period to take further steps on the path of party building. In addition to the development and adaptation of our own structures and working methods, this also includes the targeted further development of our women’s organization as well as the development of our youth organization towards its organizational independence.
The next steps in our organizational development must correspond to the changing objective and subjective conditions in the class struggle in order to be able to do justice to our ever-increasing tasks in all areas of political work.
With the growing experience in the theory and practice of organization and the development of our organizational framework, we must also increase the demands we place on ourselves, by which we measure our progress and which continue to guide us on the path from the pre-party organization to the Communist Party. We must not rest on our laurels and certainly not exaggerate our successes by measuring them against the outdated standards of a few years ago.
On the other hand, we can be proud of what we have achieved over the past 11 years and build on the accumulation of quality and quantity today. At the same time, for us this also means looking in particular at current and past mistakes, learning from them and moving forward on this basis. For us, this means developing those areas that are currently underdeveloped or lagging behind other areas with even more commitment, concentration and continuity.
We need to close the weak points that have been critically and self-critically identified, overcome mistakes and develop new strengths for the coming period from our previous weaknesses, without losing sight of the goal of party building.
Taking Organizational Development to a new Level
The tasks in the upcoming development include, in particular, the professionalization and differentiation of all areas of work and levels of the organization. At the same time, a new quality and quantity of work in many areas will mean that old ways of working, concepts and organizational methods will no longer be sufficient, but will have to be replaced by new mechanisms. In taking these steps, we must take into account the increasingly severe repression, the growing level of political struggles and also our higher demands on party building in the future.
One of the central tasks on this path remains the training and development of new cadres. Here, too, it will be a matter of making up for deficits that exist and, on the one hand, training comrades across the breadth of the organization and passing on experience, knowledge and methods. On the other hand, in addition to all-round development and training, we must create revolutionary experts in various fields, without whom a lasting higher development and professionalization of the work remains impossible. In addition, it is still our task to promote the training of professional revolutionaries in the imperialist center and to expand methods of continuous personal development.
It is clear that we are still far from being able to reach all layers and sectors of the working class and that the composition of our class has not yet been adequately reflected in the diversity of our ranks. In the coming period, we must also take steps to broaden our foundation as a communist organization and to reach, politicize and permanently organize people from more and more diverse sections of our class. To this end, we must also question our current working methods and structures and develop appropriate responses that will enable us to better exploit the potential of our class.
The Development of the Women’s Organization and the Women’s Revolution
Both the coming period and our own development require us to take faster steps and find suitable answers to questions of women’s revolution. This means that the level and standards of revolutionary women’s work must be raised in all areas.
At the organizational level, we need to build a framework for the women’s organization that lays the foundation for further steps. However, it is not only at this level that we face a challenge; we also need to train our cadres in this area and further shape the organization in theory and practice. The questions to be clarified in the theoretical work must be discussed collectively and the necessary concentration of comrades on this work must be made possible.
As communists, it is our task to lead the struggle for the hearts and minds of the women of our class in order to strengthen the coming class struggles. From the line of the women’s revolution we must derive its class content in the form of tangible slogans and reach the most progressive women of our class with these in a lively agitation and propaganda work.
The young women of the working class youth represent a special potential and a motor for the revolutionary struggle. In order for them to develop their full potential, suitable forms of communist work with and among young women must be developed to turn them into communist role models for the youth and support them in taking their place in the independent youth organization!
In the fight against patriarchy, trans and non-binary comrades stand firmly alongside the women of our class. Here, too, the current situation presents us with numerous challenges, as the rights and freedoms of trans people in particular are increasingly being questioned and restricted. At the same time, the LGBTI+ movement is also increasingly exposed to right-wing attacks. Here there is a need to take a revolutionary standpoint on gender and sexuality into the protests and contribute to strengthening a proletarian LGBTI+ movement and defending the right to self-determination at all levels.
Likewise, the experiences in the fight against patriarchal misconduct and violence must be further generalized and consistently developed. In doing so, awareness must be raised that it must be the duty of all communists to intervene and take responsibility for patriarchal misconduct and violence. The struggle must be fought by all genders and led by women. This means that the recognition and consistent implementation of our guidelines on patriarchal misconduct and violence must be a fundamental part of cadre development for all genders.
The tasks and demands on the women’s organization are constantly growing, which is why the women of a communist organization must be given the opportunity to develop and lead this area themselves, in line with the overall strategic direction of the organization. Realizing this self-reliance is one of the next steps we will take in the coming period.
The Organizational Development of the Youth Organization
A Communist Party needs a Communist Youth Organization, which is the school of the party – an organization in which young people are trained in the fundamentals of communist work. Through the constant transition of youth comrades into the ranks of the party, it must permanently rejuvenate and renew the party. Young comrades must infect the party with new revolutionary fire through their youthful enthusiasm, questioning and revolutionizing its working methods and approaches.
In the coming period, our youth organization now faces the task of realizing its organizational independence, which means creating an independent, democratic-centralist organization that remains politically and ideologically linked to our organization. They will need to hold a congress, elect their own national leadership, create their own leadership structures at regional and local level, adapt their statutes to new developments and define development plans for their own political work.
It is the task of our organization to support the communist youth with advice and assistance and at the same time to give them the responsibility for their independent development. It is time to find the right paths ourselves. Only in this way can the communist youth organization fulfil the tasks outlined above to the fullest extent and play its role as the driving force behind the development of the entire organization to an even greater extent than before. Only in this way can it truly become a communist mass organization of the entire proletarian youth. Only in this way can it succeed in revolutionizing the entire organization and infecting it with new youthful dynamism.
